We plan to apply for the MO Dept of Elementary & Secondary Education 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Cohort 12
Each of our sites provides youth in the region with services in five core program areas:
Character and Leadership Development
Empower youth to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop positive self-image, participate in the democratic process and respect their own and others’ cultural identities.
Education and Career Development
Enable youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations and embrace technology to achieve success in a career.
Health and Life Skills
Develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults.
Fine Arts
Enable youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts, crafts, performing arts and creative writing.
Sports, Fitness and Recreation
Help youth develop physical fitness, positive use of leisure time, skills for stress management, appreciation for the environment and healthy social skills.

Graduation for Mas/MAC Scholars | Teen program highlighting academic & college readiness and the commitment to stay in school. |
Smart Moves, Methsmart, | Prevention: drugs, alcohol, sex. Discussion from a staff and peer leaders to prevent negative choices. |
Passport to Manhood | Targeted effort to engage young boys in discussions and activities that reinforce character, leadership and positive behavior. |
Million Hours of Service | Community service to promote youth leadership & good character by tracking overall hours. |
Triple Play | Health/Physical/Character program that targets the mind, body, and soul. |
Career Launch | Developing career goals and skills in preparation for the workforce. |
Technology Lab | Digital learning, Safety, Coding. Increases tech proficiency . |
STEM Programs | Science Technology Engineering and Math activities in a fun way |
Project Learn | Education/literacy/homework. Educational program that reinforces academics in an innovative way. |
Access Arts Community Partnership | Encourages creativity and exploration while using Fine Art techniques. |
CPS Partnership | We work in partnership to provide academic support directly in line with the school curricula . |
Music | General music appreciation |
Sports Camps | Kim English, Laurence Bowers, Justin Britt. Members are provided an opportunity to attend a sports camp via scholarships provided. |

Leadership Clubs | Keystone/Torch/ Club Promotes good character & leadership |
