Part-time, Flexible Scheduling, Will Train on Site

Responsible for maintaining an optimal Club experience for youth of all ages with a focus on fun, mentorship, safety and building character. YDP's must be able to engage and support a group of 15 youth (training is provided during onboarding to support youth behavior and teach basic classroom management tactics).

  • Provides youth recognition in both structured and unstructured ways

REQUIRED SKILLS: Prior experience working with youth is always a PLUS, but is certainly NOT required, will train in youth development on site

REQUIRED: Must be able to pass both a background and drug screening upon hire

Salary Range: $16-$19/hour

Clubhouse Greeter, Part-Time

Part-time position

Clubhouse Greeters are responsible for customer service, general office management, data collection and data entry, timely family communication, and membership enrollment. Excellent verbal and written communication is a must. Must be able to work both independently and as a valuable team member. A track record of strong customer service is a must! This position serves as the 'face' of our Club and is a vital component of a successful running program.

REQUIRED PRIOR TO HIRE: Clean background and drug screening, customer services experience

PREFERRED: Salesforce or Membership Tracking experience, Customer Service Experience or Social Work Experience

Salary Range: $14-$16/hour

Club Supervisor

Full-time with benefits package: medical, vision, dental, and more!

Supervises, coaches and manages overall daily operations of a Club site under the control of the organization with the primary concern for a comprehensive, outcome-driven program and service delivery, supervision and training of staff (direct and indirect reports), personnel issues, management of a facility, develop and manage a budget, actively engage and support a Club site Advisory Council, community relations, volunteers, and membership administration.

Primary responsibilities include creating an excellent club experience driven by the 5 key elements of positive youth development: safety, positive environment, fun, supportive relationships, opportunities and recognition. site programs, activities and services that prepare youth for success and that create a club environment that facilitates achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.

Club Supervisors manage 1 of the 5 Club sites and ensure a healthy and safe environment, ensuring facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained.

REQUIRED SKILLS: the ability to plan and communicate the plan to the team as well as hold self and others accountable for their part in the plan, the ability to coach others, develop talent in others, self-regulate emotions and handle stressful situations professionally, must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate to school administration and families, must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, must be willing to take direction and give direction, ability to deal effectively with members including discipline problems.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Four-year degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience. A minimum of three years work supervising a small team, demonstrated ability in staff and volunteer supervision, facilities management, and the recruitment and retention of key personnel.

Preferred:
Child Development Associate's Degree, Youth Development Credential, or 20 or more education/human development/early education college credits, Class E Driver's License or willingness to obtain upon hire

Salary Range: $40,000-45,000

Director of Finance and Compliance

The Director of Finance and Compliance is responsible for planning, directing, and managing all financial functions including accounting, payroll, financial operations, receivable and payable management, employee benefits, insurance coverage, grant fiscal compliance and management, public support fiscal compliance and management, legal requirements, systems, and controls.

This role also is responsible for establishing and managing the public grant qualitative performance systems and reporting process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or business administration, a minimum of one year of work experience managing the accounting functions in a non-profit agency, business, or equivalent experience, thorough knowledge and proficiency in budgeting and accounting practices, processes and procedures, proficiency in software systems including QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite.

REQUIRED PRIOR TO ONBOARDING: clean criminal background check and drug screen.

Salary Range: $75,000-90,000

The Director of Resource Development reports directly to the CEO and plays a key role in developing, cultivating, stewarding, and retaining corporate and individual donors and prospects. This role collaborates with the CEO, board members, and relevant committees to meet short and long-term goals that advance the BGCC mission.

The Director of Resource Development manages a portfolio of individual and corporate donors and builds valuable relationships with major gift prospects.

REQUIRED SKILLS: relationship management, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, organizational skills, strong networking skills, and public speaking.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: bachelor's degree, additional fundraising credentials/certifications/degrees a plus, minimum of 7 years of active solicitation and demonstrated success in major-gift fundraising with a focus on prospect identification, relationship building, and solicitation. Proven experience and knowledge of the full spectrum of development, including planned giving, gift solicitations, stewardship, donor recognition, and administration.

Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000

Part-time position, M, T, W, Th, F, 2:15-5:15 pm

Bus Driver's contribute to the Boys & Girls Club program by eliminating the transportation barrier. Driver's contribute to the overall mission of the Club each and every day! A Club Driver would begin their route at the Clubhouse (1200 N. 7th, Columbia, MO) and travel to 4 local elementary schools delivering kiddos to the Clubhouse. A second round of pick-ups would occur from Club to Battle High School and back to the Club. Two quick routes with a BIG impact!

REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be CDL certified, with Class B License, P (passenger) rating, hydraulic brakes

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Clean driving record, must pass both a background check and drug screening upon hire

Salary Range: $30/hourly
